28th July 2012 Windsurfing: Weston Wind Direction: WSW Wind Stength: F4-5 Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: 18C Sea Temperature: warm Weather: sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: Forecast was a fairly uninspiring F3-4, but with the sun shining and the possibility of a classic WSM sea breeze... Usual M5 crap traffic on the way down, turning a 45min drive into 1 1/4hrs. Ho hum. Definitely worth it, though. 5.5m on 86l wave board was pretty much spot on. Great day, but probably overdid it a bit (body aching today!), and I now remember thinking I needed new footstraps after the last time I used this board - feet are shredded :( |
